SBI Home Loan Branch Account

I will be applying for home Hoan in SBI, for that..

I have one 6 years old account in SBI at Bhopal branch. My question :

Is it good to transfer that account to bangalore and apply for home loan. if yes…is there any benefit ?

or open a freshly new SBI Bank account in bangalore.? (as this might take lesser time)
