DS-Max are just marketing agents and not the builders. DS-Max collectively market properties of small time builders in certain areas. Problems can be project specific, as with marketing people they may promise a lot which will not really translate into development, so better to go for a project which is close to completion or already completed and you will get an idea of the quality as well as amenities provided.
