Is composite Tax and Service tax to be paid on each installement for apartment which is udner construction.

Hi,

I booked a flat and going for SBI bank loan.

In sale of agreement,builder had mentioned the slab structure which is not mentioned with the CT & ST.But he told us to pay the installment including composite & service tax.

Builder is collecting Composite Tax and Service Tax for each installment.Would like to know whether this is mandatory.Also i was learnt that some builders are not collecting the same.

Please clarify so that i can check with the builder.
