Actually iam purchasing a flat and already sale agreement is done for 47 lakhs and SBI home loan also sanctioned. Planning to get registration in 1st week of july (just to avoid first EMI in june). But my bank agent person called me and informed to get the registration very soon, govt is planning to give new circular for registration charges on agreement value (not on the govt value) which will be very high. If that rule comes, then i have to pay around 5 lakhs for registration charges, current registration charges is 2.3 lakhs only. Can someone please clarify me on this ? Thanks in advance.
