No construction is allowed in the buffer zone. The buffer zone is definitely inside the property. Need to check the setbacks.

I saw a Kannada News channel on Marcg14th and they were reporting that L&T land parcel of 67 acres in Hebbal has problem with approval from BBMP due to encroachment of a government road and a Rajakaluve (drain). Apparently one BBMP commissioner has given approval after taking a bribe.
The project has not yet been launched (delayed by more than a month) and BBMP approval is already in trouble. I’m worried since I’ve made a booking of a 2BHK in one of the towers.
Anybody else heard of this piece of news? I’m not finding any other reference on the internet. If this is remotely true, I’d prefer to cancel my booking.

I had bought a flat here, visited the office and spoke to their CRM Team. They showed all their papers and approvals and knowing L&T, it is legitimate. The TV report seems to be a bogus. I heard that the commercial properties in Bellary road are all leased out and am sure that this investment will be a good one for me.

Fixed Deposit will be much better from monthly income point of view rather than buying these apartments.
I agree, spread your money into debt, equity, mutual funds and little bit of real estate (land/plots) also but without taking a huge loan.

But with L&T at 6900 compared to Godrej at 8100, isn’t this a better buy. Godrej seems to have limited space around the apartments and am told that if we buy in Platinum, we cannot use the Woodsman facilities
I would be curious to see if there are buyers for a pre launch property at 6,900 / sqft ++.
Base price is good for that place but other charges are very high. Prelaunch has not developed any interest amongst buyers. Land belongs to L&T from a long time. It will take a long time to complete the project.

I wouldnt worry about this property. Its a good location but is too pricy. Bangalore infrastructure is not worth investing so much hard owned money. I dont know about people with black money they can buy such places. L&T must realize they should charge appropriate value for this. Yes, in general trust is there but price is too much to stir much interest.
I agree! For investment purposes buying an already expensive apartment and then find a buyer to sell this will be almost impossible. Better invest in more liquid instruments, like mutual funds, fixed deposits, stocks, etc.
